Fast & strong: Delock offers species diversity in U.2 / NVMe

NVM Express ( = NVMe, Non-Volatile Memory Express) is a more sophisticated data transfer protocol and successor of AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface). NVMe distinctly improves the sequential read and write performance of data by reducing the latency and reaching a high grade of parallelism, for example. All in all, PCIe SSDs that use the NVMe protocol provide a clearly measurable speed increase.

In the area of U.2 / NVMe Delock offers a wide range of converters, PCIe cards and cables. For an overview click here

Three examples of species diversity in the area of U.2 / NVMe

1 Item 62710

2.5″ Converter U.2 SFF-8639 >
M.2 NVMe Key M

This converter enables the connection of a M.2 SSD in 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 format. The converter can be internally installed into the system through the U.2 68 pin interface.

2 Item 89517

PCIe Card > 1 x internal NVMe M.2 PCIe / 1 x internal SFF-8643 NVMe

This PCI Express card expands the PC by one M.2 slot. One M.2 module in 2280, 2260, 2242 or 2230 format can be connected. Furthermore e.g. one SSD with U.2 interface can be connected by using an optional cable.

3 Item 62721

Adapter M.2 Key M >
SFF-8643 NVMe

This adapter enables the connection of a NVMe memory e.g. U.2 SSD via the SFF-8643 interface to a M.2 slot.
