Camera modules as components of electronical cameras carry parts of our analogue (visual) world into the digital day-to-day life.
They are used in embedded systems and are absolutely essential in many application fields.
Combined with digital image processing, they perform the task of optical inspection and are helpful in quality management,
for example in controlling the accuracy of weld seams.
Camera modules also support industrial visual checks, which means e.g. the optical position detection of building components and
automatic feeding of these components. Optical counting processes and state monitoring as well as security tasks,
for example video surveillance and access control, are also realized by camera modules.
All Delock camera modules provide the standard interface USB 2.0. With a length of 60 mm and a width of 8 mm they have a very compact design,
while the height is varying depending on their lens. The weight is only maximal 8 gramm. They don't need additional power supply.
