This adapter by Delock enables you to connect either a ZIF HDD, 1,8” Toshiba HDD or 2,5” IDE 44pin HDD via an optional IDE cable to a free IDE 40pin interface of your motherboard. Furthermore you can install an operating system to the HDD since you can also boot from it. Power will be supplied through the 4pin Molex connector.
