Same Construction – New Features

Due to frequent costumer requests we decided to relaunch the USB 2.0 camera module (Item 95852) in a revised technical version. This provides you a low-priced possibility to replace the original version by the revised version (Item 95956).
Here is an overview to show the relevant differences between the original camera module and the current version:

What has changed:

In the original model:
- Resolution 1.31 megapixels
- 640 x 480, 30 fps
- 1280 x 1024, 12 fps

In the current version:
- Resolution 1.92 megapixels
- 1280 x 720, 30 fps
- 1600 x 1200, 15 fps

What remains the same:

Mechanically:
Size of the board
Location of the mounting holes
Position of the sleeve
Position of the lens

Electronically:
Pin assignment of connector
UVC standard

New: Current Version
Your advantage over the original camera module: higher standard resolution, more frames
at higher resolution, reduced power consumption
