Strong and flexible: Delock offers species diversity in USB Type-C™
USB 3.1, the interface for data transfer and power supply, includes as one of its innovations the 24 pin USB Type-C™ plug. By its novel elliptic shape it is well to distinguish from its predecessors and has convincing advantages.

The plug is double-sided usable and fits into the port independently of its rotational direction. Also with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C™ cable, there is no difference between "start" or "end". The USB Type-C™ plug can deal with more protocols than its predecessor: Besides USB 2.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.1 Gen 2, also DisplayPort™, PCI Express, Thunderbolt™, HDMI or MHL signals are compatible now.
USB Type-C™ is designed in a slim and robust way. With its very small measurements of plug and jack, the connector is ideally suitable for slim smartphones as well as notebooks, laptops and bigger devices such as desktop PCs and entertainment electronic devices.

Currently, Delock offers a lot of novelties in the area of USB Type-C™. Beside adapters, converters, cables, enclosures, hubs and slot brackets, there are also PCIe cards, for example. Brand-new is a PCIe card with two external USB Type-C 3.1 female ports. One of these is DP Alt Mode capable whereby e.g. the transfer of video and audio signals to a display is possible (see item 89582).
